Elba Ramalho at Lincoln Center and Joe's Pub in collaboration with NY Forró Fest

In conjunction with NY Forró Fest, I worked on booking the legendary Elba Ramalho’s debut in NYC at Lincoln Center’s Midsummer Night Swing and at Joe’s Pub.

Winner of two Latin Grammys and 16 Brazilian Music Awards, this is a rare opportunity to see “The Queen of Forró” in two different formats: performing in front of the gorgeous and welcoming dance floor at Midsummer Night Swing, and as an intimate performance at Joe’s Pub. Elba began her musical career playing drums in the all-female ensemble "As Brasas." After 40 years in music, Elba continues to be among the greatest artists of Brazil today.
